Well, if you have any other way of taking them down, then we won't stop you.

You guys are scarier than the church. You haven't a clue about Scientology or Scientologists. You might as well also go attack the Mormons, Moslems, Catholics, Christians and Jews. MLK! Yeah, he's a man you should study a bit more. I'm having a hard time recalling all the revenge seeking missions MLK carried out in his lifetime.

The Church of Scientology is doing just fine taking itself down. Spread the word.

Scientologists are not a pack of murders. Hate isn't the answer, unless you are looking to eat yourself up from the inside out.

I think those are illegal, even if they really just are visiting a website a helluva lot of times, like 10.000 times a second. - The viral ping-bots and backdoors that are downloaded to peoples computers without their knowledge or consent IS illegal! - And I fuckin' hate that activity.. Also, remember that Scn's websites are just promotional stuff. I doubt that anything of value is there in their HTML. It's not worth hacking into... Although I suspect that you guys get great lols from doing so? - Am I right?

The haxored data that you already took off from there.. All that stuff about the Gorilla Goals and Helatrobus.. Well, someone would have given you a link to that stuff if you'd asked for it here!

And.. As for disabling Scientologys website. The strategic value of that is debatable. Fact is that their own arrogant drivel on their website works against them! - That it does that is the result of critics and ex'es hard work for years... And Scientologys own deranged activities.

Which is also why they now has the hackers as enemies.. I'm not wholly unsatisfied with that. It's great.. And it was also intirely predictable. Those jerks alienate everybody.

As for 'taking them down'... Have no doubt that we want to take 'em down! - But the reality is that your proposed method will not 'take 'em down'.

Exposing the scam will! - But Scientology is a very complex scam. Those in it don't think it's a scam! - They mean to save humanity from entrapment on this prison planet.. It's nuts, but the problem is that they are sincere!

The ddos is just to get the medias' attention. If they realize that all the anti-Scientology material, soon to be online, is connected to the ddos, they may make a note of it, if they report on the ddos.

They aren't doing anything illegal. Also, at this point in time, I note that the raid has gone on since the 15th, and the main sites are still down.

The level of harassment they are putting the CoS through is no different than leafleting and picketing, it's just a different medium. The plus side also is that unlike picketing, CoS will actually have to use extra resources to stop this.

Anonymous tends to latch on to any of its targets like a dog (See: Hal Turner), and this very well may be a fight to the end. They are smart and resourceful enough not to reveal themselves, so I for one will be bringing the popcorn out on who comes out on top of this.

Interesting tactic, but you put Scientology in role of "victim" by it.

All the anti scientology material has been available for years, and the great unappreciated mass of populance that rely on the mainstream media will only see a ddos as criminal activity.

You may actually set back the cause of the longstanding critics of scientology by your actions.

I say go for it, shut down the churchs web sites. The media will report it as religious bigotry on your part.

Or will the "real critics" be arrogant enough to say "this is below our level" and do nothing?

It will be the first time when the media will actually be interested to hear any new angles on the story. It's one thing to call up random places and insist upon them feigning interest on a cult they've never heard of, but it's quite another to give some good info for the press to rely on.
