I am waiting with bated breath to see what comes out in the trail, if anything. Being Children's Court we probably won't get to hear much. I hope his lawyer does right by him.
Aaron Smith-Levin did an interesting video a couple of weeks ago. He makes some good points.
Sea Org Member Murdered in Australia
This guy put up some interesting points.
I'll preface this with:
Scientology doesn't just let anyone into an advanced org. The point of being legally there means he had signed documents. This is a known fact, they won't let you do anything until you have signed something and they have checked you out.
New staff are bled dry of any money on account. If they think you have more they will make every effort to get you to pay for more because they already convinced you to join staff. They will tell you it the right thing to do because it helps Scientology.
Some thoughts occurred to me as I listened.
There is a possibility that both the mother and the son joined the SO together because they are inseparable, that it was part of the deal and they would work together wherever they were assigned, that they were twinned on the purif due to their close relationship, and something happened that threatened that relationship.
Scientology efforts to keep family's split up. They do this so they don't conspire to leave. With family's apart, there is less likely a chance of comparing notes and influencing each other.
If they were told at signing they would be together and later told they would be separated to different orgs, this could have triggered the kid because the deal was they stay together.
Another possibility is Scientology realized the kid wasn't stable and wanted to offload him which would cause him and his mother to be separated; an idea completely unacceptable to the kid because of there relationship and he decided he wasn't going to let that happen and went to get her back which became violent because they wouldn't let him see her and she had already reported that he was upset because they would be separated which may have been the basis of the argument the night before.
Knowing how Scientology works, that would make sense to me. It would explain how it got elevated to murder, they were separating him and his mother and that just wasn't going to happen as far as the kid was concerned. It would explain why he brought a knife because he knew they were going to try and keep his mother and send him away. Completely unacceptable in his mind because he and his mother are forever and nothing will stop that.
History is filled with mother son relationships that have resulted in someone being killed because the relationship is threatened.
Another thought that crossed my mind is that it may not have been his knife. Maybe he didn't bring one and one of his escorts had one that he got hold of. From pictures of him of what he was wearing, concealing a 10 inch knife would be difficult. It isn't off the table that Scientology security would carry a knife as their job is to remove undesirables. It is a possibility because a 10 inch knife, difficult to conceal, suddenly appeared. I don't think the kid, if that unstable and that intent on committing murder would wait to be escorted before he produced it. He more likely would have pulled it the moment they said he couldn't see his mother, not 50 to 150 feet or yards down the road. The knife would have to have been concealed to get that far and surprise them. It would not have to be concealed if an SO escort had it on him or was holding it as a means to convince the kid he was leaving, no if, and's or but's.
