We are (or should be) familiar with the origins of the CoS, launched in the mid-50's essentially to escape paying taxes and tax liabilities. And of course the "is it a business wrapped in religion or is it a religion wrapped in a business" dichotomy that has been used with great success to keep people confused about the whole thing.

But really, what is the sense of having a "Chairman of the Board" in a religion? And just exactly WHO is on this "Board"? We are familiar with popes, bishops, priests as "church leaders" but a "chairman of the board"?

    I smell fraud.
