then You are not a Wanker. Sorry. I guess I "ad hom'ed" the whole Board.
You guys are not the guys that piss me off. Wrong target, etc and so forth.
I have never been to Marty's site. I didn't know that they were still bleating the RTC version of " David Mayo, the big squirrel", while at the same time using the tech that he has written.
They just do not quit. They have driven Gerry Armstrong and David Mayo from their homes and livlihoods, ruined them as utterly as is humanly possible, and still yammer about how 'bad' Gerry and David are. How many others will fall victim to the Rinders and Rathbuns and Tommy Davises and Tom Cruises before peeps wake up and realize that they're gonna have to make some hard choices if they are to retain any personal integrity? DM cannot do it by himself. He has not done it by himself. It takes other low integrity beings to implement the abuses that are perpetrated by COS.
Ok. my rant is over. i feel better.

    Hi rhill

Thanks for this brilliant link, my friend - outstanding! I will have to post it on my Facebook page; it really reminds us exactly how pissed off the Church was, and how seriously they took our action against them. That was a lot of money in those days.

I would also like to congratulate you on quoting the references about David Miscavige and Norman Starkey being able to forge LRH's signature. Interestingly, corroboration of this information came about as a result of the Copenhagen prank. When I was in prison there later, our good friend Ole Gerstrom commissioned a professional graphologist's report, which unconditionally declared LRH's signature on the document assigning the copyrights to CST and RTC to be a forgery. Eventually, this info will come back to haunt Miscavige, for sure, since he then witnessed the forged signature as a Notary Public. That's exactly how he gained control of the organisation, and all its assets.

My sincere thanks too to everyone else who has posted such kind and welcoming comments; sorry I don't have time to acknowledge you all individually.

    Warmest regards, Robin & Adrienne

I think David Mayo suffered terribly at CofS' hands. And I don't like to see their bullshit party line being touted elsewhere.

My impression of David has, for years, been that he just wanted to deliver services that would help people. Nothing has happened to change my impression.

I'm sure he's going to be back, but understandably cautious about what he can reply to. As I said in the other thread:

He also needs to be cautious about what is stated in private messages (PMs) and emails but that is normal.

I do hope he posts more. :)

It's liberating to have the power of choice over the oppression that the gag can seem to cause.

Whatever "reform" the Church will undergo, one point of credibility would be to drop unilaterally the enforcement off all gag agreements, giving back to the gagged people their freedom to write and talk their mind and experiences freely without any penalty whatsoever.

There will be no true reform without that step.

I haven't ever thought of David Mayo as of "great Scientologist".

Having heard some of his speeches on You Tube, and having read some of his interviews (I think, for a book Messiah or Madman) -

    - I can only think of him as of a Great Being.

Waiting for Rockyslammers second part :mail:, and hoping that it doesn't get postponed too long because of the pleasant effects of his first one, I might give some memories which turn up from the scene in Europe at these times. I wasn't near the informed centers of action then, nearest was doing a mag for an AAC for some months around 84 I think - so take it for what it is, not that I have and can give hard data of what really was going on at the center of action.

I had left the church in 83 after a gang sec check. Was a conditional Cl iV auditor who audited mainly staff, rehabbed after blowing staff after tried enforcements, and besides that co-auditing the happiness rundown. There I had cogged on the part of "not supporting a suppressive government" to no longer support Scientology the org, only its individuals. This lead to troubles, sec checks, justice actions and finally this gang sec check - which made them lose a cost-free auditor and me a believed eternity of other's grace.

I retired, sued them for repayment and won the legal issue (after Pubs had stopped to deliver me materials for my plus balance, after they had delivered the PDC, some other tapes and a Mark 6 without knowing of my blow). To mention these items were about 15000 Swiss Francs, would be today about 40000. Then I had for about a year no connection to the Church (and never since), wether org nor individuals in or out of the org, also not to the handfull of individuals from whom I knew they were also out after more than some weeks or months in.

My wife (who was a pc and NED student and accompanying me through these relationships to the church) then went to see friends of her who were out and came back with the news that there's an AAC over there. This was great news! I went over there and learnt that David Mayo is out and has started a tech delivering organisation, and that there was a man and a woman, full-time, helped by some part-timers, delivering the tech independently from the church.

I reentered my progress as a pc in very liberal form - audited by free field auditors under the guidance of the AAC with reviews at the AAC if needed. I helped out by becoming the editor of their mag. Other than in my years as church staff and public, I involved socially - made a lot of aquaintances of people who did divers things to add to the movement in a complete volunteer way, mix of self- and pandetermination. The only ones who were paid were the two people of the AAC so they could full-full-time do their jobs. Later I paid an associated field-auditor for the service - a normal price for him to make his living. Heaven, against the hellbound rip-off donations I knew from the church. All together a paradise of friendly, in-exchange or without-exchange helping each other in spiritual advancing.

The main person in making this paradise ("as scientology should be") possible was David Mayo as the trusted one to procure the tech, of which none of all local involveds had enough to guarantee the future of the movement.

This situation went on for about a year and a half, but with growing difficulties of being harrassed by the curch - mainly, as far as I know, copyright sues and plants from the church in the AAC and at the "tech materials service" in which a friend of mine traded second hand books and tapes and some other items (without, to my observations and conviction, any financial interests in the intention). (I won't name names as it would, in this "far from central scene", not make any difference and some of my friends from there are still active in the broad field of self-improvement - and Scientology is since long a dirty word, around here. For the same reason I don't spread my name - one has to do some work to find out ...)

Now I want to tell a bit how it was, for me as a public not involving then to the level of influence, to change from David Mayo's space of influence to CBR's. I got my first OT levels from a field auditor who was somehow in between the two spaces in the beginning - he was recommended to me by the AAC and was C/Sed from there, and also had done some instruction by CBR. I was a bit between three sides - LRH was to me still the knight in shining armor; David Mayo looked to me as very nice and a blessing to have as guarant for the tech, but a bit a softy with his pushing of virtues; and I didn't like at all the little bit which I had heard and read from and about CBR, all those bloody space opera things which were for me totally different to "philosophical" issues and in which I had absolutely no interest. My Solo to OT 2 were interesting, but a plain mess - I had for weeks big LFBDs on the solo on each major thought, tune, concept, consideration which made it nearly impossible to do meter drills. Then on OT 2 there was nearly nothing, I did this purely as a needed step, kind of a drill to pass by and advance. My auditor's comments gave absolutely no hint to what might be going on, and my judgement was, that he was not just sticking to "no eval", but had no clue too. Simultaneously he became more and more "over"critical and nattery about LRH and CBR. Finally I got stuck on OT 3 - just couldn't "find any". At this point my auditor's partly spoken, partly unspoken attitude to this was "it's just normal, it's anyway all crazy". And the AAC was short before or in liquidation (don't know so exact anymore).

It was at this moment that a friend invited me to take part in lectures of a close combatant of CBR. There, since long I felt advancing again, if not directly in case, but in understanding. CBRs "space opera" became the philosophical issue which I couldn't see in it before and which seemed to me rather crazy in OT 3 alone. Good reasons to change the auditor and reach for "the CBR approach". And the first session - or series of sessions, it was like one session along some weeks - changed my life. After for or five times an hour or half an hour of "interview" or "fish and fumble" or "establishing the situation" or how one might call it, about 10 minutes of a power process did what I was sure no other approach could have done. It blew/freed an entity in/with whom I was nearly completely intermingled before. It was similar to my very first Scn-session, where this "aspect of mine" (then felt so) had been discharged and given me a huge win and free space; but 10 times the "quantity" of it, and other then in the first session, it wasn't magic, it was "my personal discovery of telepathy" and an immense enlarging of understanding with it. Finishing OT 3 was a snap and better drill to once "have done it" after it.

Like it was clear after my first session that I was for Scientology and Scientology was for me, it was clear after this session that I was for CBRs activity and CBRs activity was for me. And so my next 20 years or so I helped and got help there. The "good aspects" of Scientology tech were included, the "bad aspects" of it were past and no more interesting.

It's out of this thread's eighties space why I left "CBRs activity field" after 20 years. It was anyway half personal and not of public interest, and for the other half the time might be ripe to moderately discuss it in 20 years - but I guess I won't be around to tell then. Should I come to formulate words, it won't be a story of leaving a cult or separating from persons or who has done what, but how developing of consciousness has developed for me. So interesting it is to read the old stories and get more data now, the other half is that it is a shame that things of the eighties cannot easily just be seen under this scope (not how developping of consciousness developed for me of course, but in general). If I'd blame LRH for anything, then for this situation of hidden hickhack everywhere which I feel is ronogen - but I thank him and CBR and David Mayo and many others anyhow for the advancing which they made possible. And I'm very ready to believe that they and many others in Scientology and Independants and Freezone did not only do their best, but the best which could be done at the times. (This does not so much include the "New Independants" and of course much less David Mis-all and his adherers. IMO - would just take some opening of eyes and integrity today to not starting or holding a "WEEE ONLY". Times have changed, today they stay stuck without need or overwhelming suppression. Not unsimilar to, on a lower level, the world in general which's most seem wanting to stay stuck in material games of "power" dominating by repression, holding in and excluding. Won't be changed by more domination, IMO - even trying to add free spaces to someone without helping him get aware of and respect his already available free spaces is contraproductive; see Scientology, ca. from the first KSW till today.

In the happenings between David Mayo and CBR I'd be interested what was going on especially with regards to views / consciousnesses, not possible dirty linen. I wonder how much adapting to mainstream (metapsychology) was a high intention / strategy or more a solution to the domination power of the Co$. I wonder if such a strategy vs CBRs "full blast to where I see the light, without respect to dominating realities" was ever discussed or if the games masters were so much involved in their respective games that they were not at the distance to even discuss it. Or if such thoughts or questions are bullshit, as the situation to ask or think or discuss them wasn't given at all.

I have seen David Mayo entered the board - great, welcome! (if I as a relative newbie may tell that.) I'd welcome too every hint to the truth - or your truth - of the above.

    Welcome Robin and David :happydance:

The more truth revealed the better the chips will fall.

May the human rights abuses grind to a halt and justice restored to those who suffered those abuses.

The curtains are drawing on the PR world of Scientology.

I respect integrity and see so much of it here.

    Thank you

It really isn't about 'kicking the Co$ ass'. David signed an agreement with the church. In effect it constitutes a legally binding contract with penalties for failure on both sides. That contract was drawn up under u.s. law and would be binding upon the parties no matter where they resided. In all likelihood your dutch judges would uphold the validity of that contract and its terms.

David is free to say whatever he wishes about the Co$. If he does so however in violation of the agreement with the Co$, he will be held accountable for an effective breech of contract. He has accordingly chosen to keep his silence for many years now despite being resident outside of the u.s.. In this he is wise.
