So, Rathbun and Rinder must know. Why won't they say?

They state that he battered and imprisoned them and others, which of course is a crime. And they've already paid very high prices in terms of being stalked, harassed, and losing their scientology spouses and children (in Rinder's case), their jobs, their friends, the foundation of their lives.

So what hold could Miscavige continue to have over them that would cause them to self-censor on this issue? Is the issue of gayness a tipping point in Miscavige's violence? Would he just simply order hits on them? Could they be held liable for complicity, if there is any, if his sexuality involved criminal behavior?

In fact, since Miscavige is known for his violence and ability to hire private investigators, bribe phone company, credit card and garbage collection employees, hire off-duty police, blackmail and threaten judges, journalists, doctors and politicians, he's proven his ability to marshal muscle without leaving a trail that leads to scientology, except in the eye-witnessing by people like Rinder and Rathbun and other past and present staff.

So having endured much of the above abuse, why would the former insiders restrain themselves in discussing the issue? Does the fear of discussing it really carry with it a threat of something worse than imprisonment, battery, bribery, stalking, chasing with cars to the point of causing accidents, i.e., what they've already been through?
