My son found this cult parody in GTA 5. It isn't dead on, but it does start with a personality test. The first question in the personality test is "Do you have red hair?" One moves up though the levels by giving increasing large amount of money.

At the end of the quest, you get either a tractor or $2 million based on the choices you make.

A game that I've just finished, Fallout 4 also has a cult that you can join:

There is another cult in Fallout 4 called the Children of Atom, but you never get a chance to become a member, which is too bad because I really wanted to be recruited.

The section on the Children of Atom starts at 2:16 while exploring the radioactive wasteland section of the game:

Lol! This is really cool, Tom. Your son has a sharp eye. Thanks for posting these. It gets me grinning to see how much cult awareness comes up in just everyday things. And this is a fun one.

Hey, let's not forget the "Party at Uncle Dave's Compound" in... Postal 2, I think it was?

I'm not a gamer, but I remember being highly amused at the notion of a cult led by 'Dave' coming to a fiery end in a video game. I mean, sure, most people are going to associate it with David Koresh, but when I saw it on YouTube, I was thinking of wee David Miscavige.

    Could happen! Here's postulating...

I played the epsilon mission all the way to the end.
The end is where you go to the manor(celebrity center), cult members load a car they've provided you with cash.
You are supposed to drive to a nearby location where you meet the Tom character who's waiting in a helicopter, to fly the money offshore.
They had heavy air and ground power and I was killed twice trying to steal the money.
Third time was a charm though and it's the biggest payout I ever made in the game.

AND I got to keep their cute blue car.

I was so elated about ripping off the $cientologists it was almost creepy, lol.

Lots of cult innoculation going on in game, it's great.

The best part is that we've got the mantra for level one from Fallout4 for FREE!

    " I deserve a better life.
    A better life is coming."

Can't wait for level two. That's when good things really start happening!

    That's sooo funny! Brilliant!

I'm going to post that on HH's funniest thread.
