It would be my own contention that 2,3, 8 and 9 are not lies

Oh, so scam-a-lam-a-tology works . Hmmmm.

I will say something I fortunately haven't heard in a while.

    That's an enemy line.

    Yeah...

It is an enemy line used by the jackals who use both the bill of rights and the creed of the church as toilet paper

    but...

    It is also truth

I am an auditor and I ain't budging off this statement.

Whoa, bill of rights and toilet paper.

Sorry I said anything that offended you.

And I did intend to offend. I'm out now after about 30 years in. I'm still connected to friends that are still in and I'm very aware of their plight. I take the opportunity to read (now that I can) and see the damage that has been done and is being done to real people's lives. And this damage is very, very real.

It's hard for me to see such a supportive statement as yours in this sea of, well, horrors.

I can see that others have had these conversations with you in the past and have given up.

Now, I will give up as well.

    Go audit yourself.

    Thirty years in?

Gruesome. How could you stand it that long?

I was super stupid, I thought that it worked, I could achieve the state of clear, and that I could go OT, 2, 3, 9 above. Pretty stupid, huh.

And it would be my requirement: Prove it.
EDIT: But, Birdy, never mind. We don't need to rehash that same old arguments. Never mind.

How old were you at the time when you started in Scientology?
Maybe you were just young and naïve?
    I was.

(Don't mentally beat yourself. Just learn from that mistake. :))

I was around 30 when I started. I don't beat myself up, maybe I should.

I was looking for something, and boy did I find something.

I don't need to prove The Nazarene worked miracles to be a christian.

I'm not going to call you stupid.

I found auditing to be workable but I wasn't blind to both offenses in policy and the proliferation of off policy offenses.

I stayed as long as I could and walked when I and my mate got screwed.

Well of course you don't have to prove what you believe, that's obvious. Scientology and Hubbard's "tech" don't do what you believe them to do but that's not my, or anyone else's, problem. Take care.

    Was hubbard actutally a felcher?

Actually, don't bother to answer that question. I found that the answer is YES, the founder of the churcth of $cientology was a consummate felcher.

Also, I don't want to know anything about skintags in relation to LRH.

I just went exterior from laughing so hard reading those last 3 posts. Great way to start my day! I lol'd so hard my skin tags fell off.
J&D hits new lows! Or should I say hits new highs?
"Ron the Felcher". Will the church put out a new Ron Series book with that title? At least it would be the first honest publication about him.

All this talk about "felcher" caused me to look up the meaning. I wish I hadn't.:omg:

You and me both. Most here seemed to know what it meant, so it could be that my fellow smber's partake of this delightful activity all the time, (although I very much doubt it) but for me, if there's anything that deserves the adjective 'gross', that has to be it.

I think I still haven't shaken the Ronnie the Felcher thing since I saw it. I don't know if I will ever be the same. Not surprisingly my spell check doesn't have felcher in it's vocabulary.

My question is, what song are they performing?

    Anyone care to enlighten??

    Here.

Martin Segundo and the Scintilla Strings perform 'When Twilight Falls on NGC 891'

Much better than "thank you for listening" by LRH
