This was posted on Tony Ortega's site this am.

"Hubbard said that the Duke of Chug was a secret criminal with hidden evil purposes. The Duke had raised income taxes to obscene levels. But even with higher taxes, societal conditions were getting worse and not better. The planet was on the verge of a massive and bloody revolution. But then the computer system, impervious as it was to weak-headed human emotions, performed a dispassionate analysis and discovered that the Duke of Chug was embezzling gigantic sums of tax money. Acting with speed, precision, and ruthless ethics, the computer system ordered the Duke of Chug executed. Peace, harmony, and financial sanity returned and the planet was saved from ruin. L. Ron Hubbard wanted this same type of ruthless computer management system for the Church of Scientology. This computer system would not be influenced by any “human emotion or reaction” as Hubbard called it. In his “Chug Advices,” Hubbard ordered Scientology’s computer unit INCOMM (International Network of Computer Management) to devise such a system".

We have not heard much about the "Duke of Chug" by Scientology.

Another Crazy secret locked up in a titanium vault that only Tom Cruise and David Miscavige have access to.

Heh - Scientology. Come to PT. You are stuck in an incident of long duration - INCOMM

The good news is - they will never change that and will be stuck using INCOMM and Telex and words like mimeo.

Hmmmm, let's see, I think it's time to take an inventory of the holy & wholey fabricated wholetrack characters that Dr. Hubbard claimed to either have been or known:

THE DUKE OF CHUG: Wholetrack tax scamming embezzler who was brought to justice by a computer.

ARP COLA (Ron): Wholetrack "inventor" of music.

BUDDHA (Ron): Hymn of Asia--Hubbard claims to be Metreiya, the long-predicted return of the messiah.

RACE CAR DRIVER (Ron): Champion over many lifetimes, always setting new records. I don't recall any name but I do remember that the racetrack was booby trapped with nuclear weapons.

XENU: Wholetrack evil Rulah whose genocidal murder and implanting of trillions of thetans ultimately became a "successful action" for Hubbard that allowed him to sell OT levels and net hundreds of millions of dollars.

CECIL RHODES (Ron): 19th Century founder of Rhodesia where Hubbard went in the 1960s in a miserably failed attempt to gain celebrity and political power--before he was unceremoniously booted out of the country.

RICH ITALIAN PRINCE (Ron): Don't know name, but wasn't this the supposed basis for "MISSION INTO TIME" the book that bizarrely celebrated his utter and humiliating inability to remember where he had buried the countless millions of dollars in treasure during a past life?

THE DUKE OF EARL: Possibly related to the Duke of Chug. Oh wait, no...never mind--that was an R&B song from the '60s. I got confused because the Duke of Earl, although not wholetrack, was provably a full Operating Thetan. ("...nothing can stop the Duke of Earl")

NOTE: If anyone wants to help/contribute names of the other wholetrack identifies that Hubbard bragged about, when the list is long and ripe, I'll send it over to the Stupid Thread where it belongs, LOL.

Question: Is Hubbard like the WORST author ever at coming up with character's names that are so creepy, cringey and corny that it it literally screams "STUPID-ASS-NAME-FOR-STUPID-ASS-SCAM!!"

examples:

THE DUKE OF CHUG? CHUG?! God that's stupid! LOL

JOHNNY GOODBOY TYLER? GOODBOY?! GTFO of here with that dumbass dorky name! LOL

XENU COULD-BE-SPELLED-XEMU? WHY XEMU?! Paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to read about a guy whose name Hubbard can't even freakin' remember? WTF?! LOL

I thought he was thinking ex-emu. An emu that has ceased to be.

I wonder if Hubbard would have persisted with this particular story had he been aware of the fact that Cecil Rhodes was homosexual.

Elron's aversion to taxes is well known. For a guy who almost never paid a dime in taxes it's strange. I guess the ship that made him a "war hero" and the roads he drove in his Bluebird just appeared without a cost?
Somehow the idea of citizenship became alien to the "hero". No share was his fair share of the cost of defense and infrastructure.
Even more interesting was his use of the court system. The legal apparatus he used more than anyone (almost anyone?) doesn't exist in a vacuum. Somehow courtrooms, judges, and officers of the court along with the clerks etc have to be funded not to mention the lights, plumbing, and maintenance. L. Randite Hubbard is like one of those freeloaders levied with massive debt for TECH they can no longer use if they choose to leave his slave navy.

Has there ever been a more entitled individual? A guy who demands free labor and donations to pay for all he owned TAX FREE? The Duke of Chug was a piker compared to Elron so why is LRH complaining?
Chug might have embezzled tax $$$ but he would not have gotten a dime out of Elron or his early lives predecessors - those previous Elron's wouldn't have paid either.

Maybe that's the clue - Elron was a tax dodger imprisoned for evasion in an earlier life plagued by the BT's of every IRS agent vulcanized and obliterated by Xenu in the fires of Mt Doom.

You can translate LRH's hypocrisy into every aspect of Scientology.

He was against psychiatric domination of the mental health industry, their government subsidies, abuses, experimentation, ability to lock people up.

He was against the power of the IRS to collect taxes and demand reporting.

He was against the intrusive authority of government to spy, investigate, prosecute or conduct secret or psychological operations.

He was against world domination, totalitarianism, communism, brain washing, hypnotism, thought reorientation camps.

He was against welfare but staff are subsidized by public health, public morgues, and dependent upon social programs when they are fitness boarded for being elderly or sick with little to no savings or Social Security account credits.

He was against the violation of personal integrity, restriction of freedom of thought, expression and will.

He was against the biased media contorting the truth and planting false stories that would be picked up by other media to hide the origin.

He was against old unworkable religions and mental technologies that didn't work. One could only assume this would include demonology and the idea that dead spirits were controlling you.

He was against unjust arbitrary human judicial systems that weren't based on facts and statistics.

In actuality he wanted to do or did all these things that he railed against.

LRH wrote about how he was against psychotropic drugs but we have stories of staff being forced to take them.

LRH wrote about how he was against abortion but now it is de facto policy for staff.

And to add insult to injury he purports to know how we should take care of our teeth.

I always thought this should be part of ethics lists :

Who or what told you the biggest lies ?

Who or what told you the most lies ?

Ron & scientology would have to be the obvious answer with - by far - the biggest reads :)

Somewhere along that yellow brick road it seems most people would bail on that party.
