What is known is, Arnie himself was questioning the actions of an "in-law" months prior to the incident.

Now, a claim on this thread is that reconciliation with an "in law" was the motive for an A-E.

Lermanet.com no longer displays content, the website is down, possibly related to the A-E.

Of all the speculation here, shouldn't the "in law" be part of the focus?

Why, up to now, have attempts at that discussion been met with mis-direction?

I don't think they have been met with mis-direction ... I think it more likely that some people (myself included) dislike it when things start to become too silly, with paranoia and guesswork becoming more and more wild as a thread builds. I prefer to stick to the facts where possible and the only facts I know off are that Arnie viciously attacked Ginger and then killed himself and apparently she has now handed his site over to the cult.

Why she did it doesn't matter to me. If she's done it, it's done ... and apparently any important bits are still available to anyone interested so taking it over has achieved nothing of significance for the cult.

If I had paid my dues in the Sea Org for little pay, respect or creature comforts and the Davy Navy offered me 5 mil, I'd have to consider it because it would ascertain that I'd get some sort of back pay for all my troubles and misery giving me a super standard of living for the rest of my life.
So I do understand the reasons why someone would but as it is I don't need the money nor do I have anything to sell them so the point of what I might do in anyone else's shoes is moot.
I'm certainly glad she hasn't and hope she won't but what if they keep upping the ante?
Sometimes people make the decision that does their life the most good like Marty seems to have done.
He gets to live very well w/o looking over his shoulder at OSA agents fucking with his wife, his life and his peace of mind.
If people don't like it then they shouldn't have given the COS all that money without realizing they were building the very monster that would come back and bite them in the end.
When you walk off into the sunset with a huge bundle you can find all kinds of ways to justify it in your mind, just being honest.

She's also, apparently, an NZer.

One thing I am so grateful for is that I lived in Australia and managed to see New Zealand too - several times - and know the people.

Besides the fact Emma is already successful and happy with her own life, she's just a gem. Betrayal? Tell secrets? Abuse or sell out ESMB?

I recommend that those with an interest download Paul's zip file even if only for later reference if they're not sure how to open it. They can figure that out later when they have someone to assist them if necessary.

We were all once so virtuous, so trusting, so idealistic, so altruistic that for years all of us would have said no.

I can't guarantee how anyone would act or what anyone would do under every circumstances, but some folks have come through the fire and managed to get above it all and recognize what is truly valuable for them and already have a life they love - and know it. And wouldn't risk that. They've arrived.

There are actually a lot of people like that in the world and that's awesome.

You and I , Sheila, and many of us know the cult vicious , pervert, cruel pressure they would have put on her, especially as a woman who was shot in the face, few hours later, faced her husband suicide and over the psychological trauma, had part of her face destroyed...left without family support (disconnection) without money to ensure psychological help for traumas and surgery...+ the ostracization of her of being accused of having been an OSA plant....

Frankly I doubt she was, within the last year, self inspecting her set of values and virtues...
Having myself suffered, and stll am, from severe ptsd...but being lucky to get some support, I can assure she is only trying to survive and probably to reconnect with her mom to find meaning in her life...it's a survival instinct when suffering is unbearable...

She is nothing of value to the cult after she surrendered and turned over Arnie's site and won't be paid for that...may be only allowed to have a connection with her old mom...

Thus...till I am shot in the face by my husband before he takes his life...I won't allow myself to condemn or judge her...
Because I think I would have collapse and surrender....after a year of OSA ops on me....even though I am known for my integrity and loyalty; I either would try to survive or end up the suffering....

I think we each have a responsibility to ourselves first and foremost ... to protect anything we wouldn't want plastered all over the net by perhaps not discussing it (with full details) in the first place. Any blame (if things go south) is then on our own shoulders, as it should be.

I feel desperately sorry for kids these days though who, after sending each other naughty pics find themselves the victim of what is now called revenge porn ... it could totally wreck a young persons self esteem for life ... I also feel awful for parents these days that need to try and educate their kids to the point of being totally paranoid about everything while letting them grow and learn for themselves (how is that even possible?).

I heard the other day about a 13 year old girls beautiful face being imposed into a porn film and plastered all over the net, the poor girl is devastated, she did absolutely nothing wrong and neither did her caring parents.
