From what I understand of the latest copyright infringement warnings I'm reading on DVDs, no matter how a person/company is using parts of copyrighted film (for profit or for not), it CANNOT be used without written consent.

I sure hope several filmmakers take a shot at the CofS for their copyright violations in making this little film.

I also found one of the quotes at the beginning to be very telling. How OTs try to individuate and how that's bad for them. Boy, I'm sure those sec checks on OT VII is driving home how an OT better stay part of the group and be helping with all the front groups.

I have not done any research on the issue, but your statement in the first paragraph seems right and equitable to me.
