I too, was on vacation the week this thread was written and well, I was too busy with family in town and going to the casino.

Wow, what can I say? You are incredible. I love your style of writing, your stories, your perspective and your running commentary about life. I love that you're getting in touch with the thetan formerly known as Patti. That is, before scio came and went in your life.

It was such a long, and therefore daunting, thread that it tookmeawhile to confront it. :wink2:

So, almost two months later, I duly note that I have read, loved and hereby acknowledge your cool thread.

Thank you all for reminding me. That was the best vacation I ever had. I had more "case gain" in that week then in my entire history in the cult.

Now, I'm on vacation again. It's not going as well. My daughter has Swine Flu. My Air Conditioning flooded all over my bedroom closet. All week I've been making chicken soup and doing laundry.

Life is kinda random.

btw - one of my neighbors just got taken away in a fire rescue vehicle.

Have you tried starting a new vacation thread? Sometimes when you re-use a thread without washing it out, you get problems from mildew and spiders and such that accumulate. Often it's best to just get a new thread.

Life moves on. All is well.

My daughter recovered fully and has moved on to typical teenage randomity. She's spending the weekend with a friend and having a wonderful time.

The laundry was done and now is back to it's normal state of never caught up. I can live with that.

I made amazing chicken soup and it seems to have done the trick. I love making soup. It's one of my favorite hobbies. The chicken soup I made this time was very simple but I'm keeping it on my list. It's made with Chinese noodles and shredded carrots. You boil these in chicken stock with just salt and pepper and then just before serving snip some green onions on top as a garnish. Yummy.

We didn't actually go in WonderWorks. I just took a picture as we drove by. I guess because it looked like a post storm shot as Mac said. We did go inside Ripley's which was cool.

The Vegan Cafe was really good. I had a pasta dish made with pine nuts and pumpkin seeds. Was yummy.

I never heard of WonderWorks before so I googled it and found out that there is one right here where I live!

What I saw of WonderWorks kind of reminds me of some of the stuff I've seen on line about Superpower.
