Somebody who puts in 10 hours at his church per week, after working his regular job, is a volunteer.

Somebody who puts in 40+ hours per week for little or no compensation, is exploited slave labor.

Yes, Catholic priests and nuns take "vows of poverty", but they have much higher standards of living than Scn staff and SO.
