The Day The Cult Died !!!!

I am calling it .

This day is going to be remembered by exes and critics forever .

With Going Clear and the scathing Neurotology video on Saturday Night Live the cult is exposed to the world as a bona fide criminal organization . The video shows how almost everyone who gets deep into Scientology and especially the Sea Org exec structure gets to go to the RPF or sued to death or fair gamed or hides in terror or overboarded or..well WE all know .

Now the regular everyday folks will ALL know the cult is a criminal group that ALWAYS abuses and exploits and imprisons its members .

No more recruiting anyone new . You will have trouble getting even a half a percent of half a percent to join . The remaining members will have a mass exodus .

How do I know ? Because I look at Scientology as what it is - A CULT .

Other cults have been seen as going in trends by sociologists . The KKK and Aum Shinrikyo ( the Japanese cult that did the subway attacks ) both have followed a pattern of hiding their criminal nature and growing almost unchecked for a time then getting massive exposure for crimes - murders in both cases - and suffered huge shrinkage .

They have suffered losses of up to 70 -90% of membership after the public learns of their crimes . They have members with less than total commitment who leave rather than be completely ostracized and face prison or execution . And they have members who leave to save their own lives . They have members who realize they are in fact doing evil and are disgusted .

Thanks to Twitter and Facebook and Youtube and other media there is no going back . No Tommy Davis can call a reporter a bigot to fool anybody .

No more calling people bitter defrocked apostates to discredit them . You cannot discredit the entire media and thousands of exes and critics all at once .

No more scaring ANYONE out of doing a critical story - it is now accepted reality that Scientology abuses and exploits and commits crimes routinely .

No libel , no slander . Game over.

Now the question is will a senator or congressman demand hearings ? Will the IRS nut up and finish the job it abandoned years ago ? The FDA ? FBI ?

A combination of groups ? Will there be new protests and rallies demanding government inquiry ?

The fate is certain . Now the details and how long the death throes are is the question .

I want it to end quickly .

And tomorrow I want to lend whatever help I can to those who are dumped out into a reality they are not ready for .

But to me today is the day the cult died .

yeah it's about time to stick a fork in it, don't get ahead of yourself, the usa isn't the whole world just a small portion of the population, but yeah, i think going clear is heading to australia next, you'd have to translate going clear and snl and spread it quite a ways to reach the world

and many religions sneak into areas of the world where nobody has internet or tv where there's easy prey, i'm not sure how you'd warn those people, word of mouth i guess

I also hope someone emphasizes the key figures like heber, shelly and others are essentially missing still, and that they use pc folder data against critics, and that the purif/narconon (the b1 and niacin) are not about your body but your body thetans, confidential reference is the ot drug rundown, 29 jan 1980

i'm watching the petition for revoking tax exemption, and hoping for an official investigation into the rpf and miscavige's violence

oh, i just felt some empathy for scientologists that are inside still, can you imagine how hard they're fundraising right now? but, we can thank miscavige for the fact that all of their blood was sucked dry, wasted on fancy buildings and 3 or 4 sets of books they already owned, and new emeters so they're mostly all broke now and won't be able to add to the war chest to fight off this giant

that will be really part of the long term downfall, the fact that they're going broke individually from wasting money on crap, they fundraise so much for the group's warchest that all of the individuals in the group go bankrupt so in effect they're slowly eating themselves to death, the eggs are in one basket and if they lose exemption that basket won't be so big

Wouldn't it be amazing if they had to pay their "contracted" "volunteers" minimum wage and damages?

Like an honest church would?

I've been saying for a long time, that if orgs had to pay their staff what a non-Scientologist would charge for doing that job, hardly any org would last past the next payday.

Orgs might last to the second payday if they were required to do what all regular businesses need to do: Out of any revenue, employees get paid first, bills get paid second, and "uplines management" gets money only if there's any money left (rather than current practice, which is the reverse).

The Mormons are known for that, but we don't have to worry about the C0$ going into those places. The difference is that Mormons are after converts, saving souls. The Co$ is out to collect MONEY. One thing all areas devoid of TV and Internet share is that there's no money there. Poverty is a kind of prophylactic defense against $cn.

Reverse - like all things in Scientology.

Sad in the 1980s Lovely Mormon women were marrying rich Muslim shit holes that would beat them and steal their children for ransom. You don't hear about that too much. But it was horrific.

Mormons were dumb asses. Oh save the world with unicorns and butterflies. It was a rude awakening. Too many Mormon women wanted romance novel husbands.

Sheesh Rodney Dangerfield married a nice Mormon girl and had a lovely daughter whats a matta wit chu? :)

There were lots of gorgeous eligible Mormon girls who would settle to marry nice, even bad boy, white American guys. There still are.

Its just there are so few good American Boys looking for good women. They don't have good jobs and marry late. They marry Black girls if in San Diego or San Francisco, or Seattle. Its a status symbol that rarely works out. Its a Progressive experiment that fails.

So if yer lonesome and a decent dude go to some mormon dances. Held every Friday at a Mormon church near you. You might get lucky or make a friend.

Shhhhhh, Even some some Mormon girls drink beer and they know how to be sweet kind and loving. Just so ya know.

The thing is, curious Scientologists who are looking, are scared of what weird shit they might find on the internet.

For example if they read about any of the leaked OT levels, thats out gradient. Well they shouldn't worry too much because OT3 source has been out for decades and no one has died of Pneumonia that I have heard of.

But what they should know is on a gradient they can read about the Independent Scientologists movement and Freezone where they can still get 100% standard auditing and training at a fraction of the cost

They can still guard themselves from all the dangerous entheta until they are ready to read more. Its a safe space. Seriously. You can get the stuff you want handled taken care of. I say that with love in my heart. No decent auditor in the Independant field will write any O/W down on a session sheet. They will just listen.

A Scientologist has to have a comparable datum of equal magnitude in order to decide to stay or leave. So, reading all bad stuff is a turn off and wont lead to a Scientologist deciding to leave. It has to be gentile and in gradient.

Some of you can say it much better than I Can

I have a friend who fits your description to a "T"

She's afraid there will be OT III stuff on the SNL spoof, so she won't watch it. She hates Miscavige and loves Hubbard. She didn't get very far on the bridge but she just "knows" with total certainty that the world needs Hub Tek and OT III. There's no reasoning with her.

Interesting thing is, she went to get help from an Indy group, but it didn't work out.

I wish you were right, but I don't think the cult will completely go away.

Consider this; a couple of times (that I know of) the Jehovah's Witnesses predicted the end of the current world and the Second Coming (despite the Bible clearly saying no one would know the day, go figure!). They quit jobs, sold their homes, closed businesses, etc. And then the day came, and nothing happened. They lost most of their current members each time.

BUT, many didn't leave!

How brain-dead do you have to be to stick around in a cult after something like that? I would have thought you'd have to practically be severely retarded, but apparently I would have been wrong, as many seemed to qualify who could still speak, walk around, and not shit themselves and play with it.

Sure, our former cult will shrink like crazy, but they will always have a core group of people absolutely refusing to acknowledge what anyone with a functioning neurological system should be able to easily see.

And really fitting in well will be the ones who don't really believe, but don't care, as they can get their jollies abusing and exploiting those under them. Like the current leader, it would seem.

There seems to be practically no limit to what some people can convince themselves of if they figure facing up to having been an idiot is going to be too inconvenient.

In any given period of time, society dictates what is a Social Norm, and what is Social Deviancy. The cult of scientology may very well be viewed as such. Thanks to Going Clear exposing the cults' inner world to millions of people, the conversation is now broader than it ever has been, in the entire history of the cult. And look how quickly the media, comedians, Twitter, Facebook, and pretty much everyone has started talking. When the laughter dies down a bit, I see the next phase as society condemning the cult, and asking for its demise, in whatever way will bring that to happen. If it were to lose its tax exemption, for example, it would close the cult down completely.

I seriously doubt the IRS will ever reverse itself on this. The reason they gave in in the first place was the willingness for the cult to funnel huge resources to winning 501c3 status. Didn't I read there was something like 400 different lawsuits, and most of them were against individual IRS employees?

The cult would just start the attacks again. Although they might not have the resources at their disposal that they had then, they would go all out with what they have. They would be playing the religious bigotry card very hard.

I imagine that the IRS big shots realize that even if they kept after them, by the time they went down, there would be hardly anything left, and it wouldn't be profitable in the long run.

There were over 2,000 lawsuits. The indoctrinated were told to file a suit, because they should be a religion. That was exposed as well. So, if they are found ineligible for continued tax exemption, and did that again, it would be recognized as the same effort to overwhelm the IRS. As long as we're doubting things, I would seriously doubt that it would be effective.

Also, remember this on Tony's site a while back? I think we'll see more of this in the future:

The Underground Bunker has obtained an e-mail written by Ron Wyden, the senior US Senator from Oregon, who has formally asked the Internal Revenue Service to explain why the Church of Scientology enjoys tax exempt status, 21 years after that exemption was granted in a controversial decision. Wyden’s inquiry comes at the same time that we have also confirmed with a former member of the church that IRS Criminal Investigation special agents sought and held a meeting with him recently to gather background on Scientology’s activities — including hundreds of pages of documents from Monique Rathbun’s harassment lawsuit in Texas and the federal fraud lawsuit brought by Luis and Rocio Garcia in Florida. After two decades of inaction, could the IRS finally be ready to revisit its legendary capitulation to Scientology leader David Miscavige?
