A new discovery and new news - Heinlein and Hubbard and Scientology

I just found this article written by Heinlein, it's a how to write science fiction type of article. What's interesting is that he mentions Hubbard, his old friend.

After all, Hubbard said first and foremost he was a writer.

Here's the excerpt:
"The man-who-learned-better; just what it sounds like - the story of a man who has one opinion, point of view, or evaluation at the beginning of the story, then acquires a new opinion or evaluation as a result of having his nose rubbed in some harsh facts. I had been writing this story for years before Hubbard pointed out to me the structure of it. Examples: my "Universe" and "Logic of Empire," Jack London's "South of the Slot,"Dickens's, "A Christmas Carol."

The whole article is worth a read to get the context.

But, if one who has been involved in dianetics and scientology, and who has read a bunch of books and listened to Hubbard's lectures, why they actually boil down to Hubbard, "The Man-who-learned-better".

Of course in the end, scientology does not produce clears or OT's, and even Hubbard admitted he failed, so the man who learned better was wrong. But, we got to spend lots of time and money listening to the man who learned better, and even trained to produce a clear and/or OT. LOL

There are the Research & Discovery blue volume books telling us of the man who learned better, the red volumes of HCOB's, that is Hubbard, there is dianetics, and every other book and or lecture, they all sum up to The Man-who-learned-better.

Surprisingly, not known to Tony Ortega, is his post today with Hubbard explaining the true name of our earth society, the man who learned better, was full of shit actually.

Here is the present COS website explaining the man who learned better:

https://www.scientology.org/store/item/command-of-theta-lectures.html

excerpt:

"In the fall of 1952, L. Ron Hubbard was deep into an intense and sustained exploration of the nature, abilities and potentials of the human spirit. The discoveries were astounding. Drawing on all tools of research including the technologies of twentieth-century science, Mr. Hubbard had moved far beyond anything even conceived of by past investigators, not only identifying the actual energy of life itself, but precisely measuring the electronics of human thought. In England to establish Britain’s first professional school, he detailed these breakthroughs in a series of evening lectures, available today as Source of Life Energy."

LOL
