For anyone experiencing OR anticipating harassment from scientology, it might be helpful if the following affidavit images in this directory were to be printed out and distributed to those around you....and sections reproduced here in TEXT highlighted... from CSI vs DAVID MAYO's AAC

http://www.lermanet.com/reference/AAC-HARVY-HABER/

(Meat of doc starts at #4, beginning pages are cover sheets in filing and notice)

"Excerpts:

a) June 13, 1984; Mr. Peter Naylor and John Franklin of the Bank of Mentecito, were contacted by Mr. Al Bei on behalf of Ingram Investigations. Mr Bei indicated he was part of a federal investigation concerning illegal illegal activities of the AAC and its members and would appreciate the bank's cooperation in providing financial records and account of the AAC to further the purposes of said investigation ....

....private investigators... would lean from open windows and balconies with photographic equipment and electronic flashes and take repeated photos of all persons entering and leaving....often at times laughing loudly as the said photographs were taken....

.....the undersigned recieved telephone calls from my wife's mother, Mrs. Joan Kennedy, DAVID MAYO's wife's mother, Mrs. Gillespie, as well as ten other family members of the AAC staff.... indicating the existense of a "Task Force" investigation of the AAC in connection to a large variety of crimes....

....the staff and family members who were contacted by Mr. Bei were in general, extremely distraught over the alleged criminal activities....

...this type of distress and disruption was clearly the desired result....

Thanks for the post. I hope that some of the ppl who were not 'in' Scn during the 80s can see the duress that we who left COS were subjected to. This kind of harrassment was not limited to David's AAC. It was prevalent thruout the Field.
The constant threat from RTC goons, Private Investigators, Copyright lawyers, and general SCN staff, was successful in destroying the Independent Field.

Are they still using the "Squirrel Busters" to pester people?

Does anyone know of any present time harassment from the cult? Or are they laying low because of the Rathbun case?

laying low would be the equivalent of defending and we know they can't do that right.

So the attacks have gone covert and under the radar, infiltration projects and double agents, triple agents
double back flip agents :dancer:
:ohmy::melodramatic:

How dumb a tactic is only ever attack, not exactly a military genius was he ?

It's the preferred tactic by invincible all-knowing megalomaniacs everywhere!

For example, Hitler's infamous "NO RETREAT POLICY" culminated in the complete destruction of his elite armies bent on conquering Russia, turning the tide of World War II. Der Fuhrer's Der-lusional superiority actually cost the lives of 2.25 million German soldiers on the Russian front alone. When faced with the Russian winter, lack of provisions, petrol and munitions and facing insurmountable odds, the Germans could have simply retreated, but that was "off policy".

Actually Stalin himself had a "NO RETREAT POLICY" where any fleeing soldier was to be shot and killed on the spot.

Hubbard's "always attack" policy likewise resulted in the decimation of loyal cult soldiers, but driven by avarice, Hubbard didn't let them perish. Instead he recycled them into slave labor units (where they could continue making/saving him money), called the RPF.

:) Sometimes it seems that Scientology only attacks, but Hubbard developed PR tech, in the early 1970s, primarily as a defensive measure. (He also further refined covert attack.)

Erecting giant crosses on buildings, and calling them "Churches" (1954), is a defensive measure, as is handing out 'Way to Happiness' booklets (1980), or showing the video for the 1966 PR piece 'What is Greatness?'

The 1960 Hubbard instructions to "find or manufacture enough threat," also include instructions to "feint": to deceive, and put on a false front or appearance, such as "We've reformed," etc. (Used in the late 1960s and also the late 1970s).

The 1955 instructions to "always attack," etc., also include instructions on the use of the (protective, defensive) religion angle, and detailed instructions on the use of (protective, defensive) layering: what to say to whom, etc.

The first tactic of war, after all, is deception.

If Miscavige's eventual replacement is slick, charismatic, and "likable," then watch out.

Nice! Thanks for the reference to "feint".

HCO PL 15 Aug 1960, "Department of Governmental Affairs"

In the face of danger from government or courts, there are only two errors one can make: (a) do nothing and (b) defend. The right things to do with any threat are to (1) find out if we want to play the offered game or not (2) if not, to derail the offered game with a feint or attack upon the most vulnerable point which can be disclosed in the enemy ranks (3) make enough threat or clamor to cause the enemy to quail (4) don't try to get any money out of it (5) make every attack by us also sell Scientology and (6) win. If attacked on some vulnerable point by anyone or anything or any organization, always find or manufacture enough threat against them to cause them to sue for peace. Peace is bought with an exchange of advantage, so make the advantage and then settle. Don't ever defend. Always attack. Don't ever do nothing. Unexpected attacks in the rear of the enemy's front ranks work best.
...
The goal of the department is to bring the government and hostile philosophies or societies into a state of complete compliance with the goals of Scientology. This is done by high-level ability to control and in its absence by low-level ability to overwhelm. Introvert such agencies. Control such agencies. Scientology is the only game on Earth where everybody wins.

There is another remarkable part of this Hubbard five-point strategy which is so ludicrous it demands special mention; (5) "Make every attack by us also sell Scientology."

Can anyone actually imagine the delusionally megalomaniacal state of mind a person would have to be in to think that publicly "declaring" people "SPs" and "disconnecting" them and "fair gaming" them helps "sell Scientology"?

I have agreed with this outlook but as time goes on I believe that Nazi "TECH" best describes what we are dealing with, including the "crosses put on buildings" as well as the mandated attacks and repression of those speaking truth.

NOTE: I have replaced the word "State" with "organization" for dramatic illustration...

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the organization can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the organization to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the (criminal) organization.” Joseph Goebbels

For example: Hitler's infamous "NO RETREAT POLICY" was imposed and enforced "from above" in the "chain of command" sense of "above". Because the directive came from above and not from below or from within the spirit of the German warriors, it and they could be defeated.

Japan's infamous [/"]death before dishonor["] came from the roots of the heart and spirit of the Japanese people, : kokoro. It could not be defeated. It could only be destroyed.

Time will tell.

All I suggesting is that Scientology's bag of tricks includes both defensive (PR, etc.), and also offensive.

It's remembered for its overt (visible) attacks, such as the ridiculous Squirrel busters, but let's not forget that it specializes in covert activities, from data collection to covert attack.

After Miscavige the "reform card" may be played.

So beware.

Stranger things have happened.

clear will be redefined as many times as Nirvana in Bhudhism old scrolls will be dug up etc etc

My hope is that we eventually grow up and wake as a culture to no longer needing religion to keep us
warm at night and safe from any kind of boogie men or con men, devils or angels, shamens or priests.

Yeah I know we're far from it, but it is a hope I have:heartflower:

How can a people, a culture, withstand this decadence?

?

Having no better way, it seems humans reproduce like rabbits,
but there is a better way..

This is why Confucious chose his path,
establishing schools that prepared young people to be good civil administrators,
by teaching them how to determine what is the truth..
by teaching them reasoning & logic

"But the moment eloquence or the language of debate enters, true reasoning becomes impossible. For the purpose of the debater is not to find the truth but to win the argument, and to this end he will often stray as far as possible from the real issues. Eloquence and debate are designed, not to decide issues, but to sway people, for this reason they lean heavily on appeals to emotion and prejudice, and make use of neat, clever, and sometimes humorous turns of phrase rather than profound analysis of ideas"

"Of all this Confucious was contemptuous" Confucious by H. G. Creel Chapter "The teacher"

The Athenians educated every child in logic, - how to determine what the truth was, and how to be good administrators in public service. Athenian 'government' jobs were filled by lottery... People slight their "Democracy" because they had slaves. However, on the streets of Athens it was impossible to tell a slave from a freeman, and in their society, not even slaves had to 'make way' for a rich man. Compare this with what we call civilization around us today...

George Estabrooks (father of military covert hypnosis) stated in 1943 that the only way to defend against being manipulated - having what you believe to be true controlled by another power .... is to become familiar with techniques being used upon you.

And then in 1952 Dr Robert Oppenhiemer said that the advances in psychology to control what a person believes to be true made the threat faced by the Atomic scientists seem TRIVIAL. < HE USED WORD TRIVIAL!

See: Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists

And then there is this guy:
"Reverse Blockade: emphatically insisting upon something which is the opposite of the truth blocks the average person's mind from perceiving the truth. In accordance with the dictates of healthy common sense, he starts searching for meaning in the "golden mean" between truth and its opposite, winding up with some satisfactory counterfeit. People who think like this do not realize that this effect is precisely the intent of the person who subjects them to this method. "
Page 104, Political Ponerology by Andrew M. Lobaczewski

His insights into sociopathy in government are and were the missing link that caused Confucious' effort in China AND the Athenian Democracy, and the American Republican Democracy to fail...

So if you wished to fix this society and bring an end to war, frauds, waste and corruption

You must first LEARN the methods that were used upon you to believe that which was false, and the diagnosis and symptoms of psychopathic organizations and then teach and demand that these techniques be taught to our children.. MORE like this

Well, the above is my own 'was invented here' understanding..

Zeitgeist sounded too good to be true, and I may be wrong, but from my quick view of it, I did not find
enough nuts and bolts 'how to' to move recalcitrant minds from denial toward revelation,
I really don't know enough about it to discuss it.
