On the subject of communication, Jenna Miscavige Hill, niece of David Miscavige, has a book coming out on 22 January 2013: “Beyond Belief: My Secret Life inside Scientology and My Harrowing Escape.”

Thanks for pointing this out. It's interesting that the mention of Jenna's upcoming book is embedded in another article and isn't given any prominence of its own on Marty's blog.

It still seems like a peculiar omission on Marty's part to fail to draw more direct attention to such an important contributor to our knowledge of what it's like to be both a child raised in Scientology and also be a close family member of Miscavige's.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what prominence or lack thereof Marty and Mike Rinder are given in her recounting.

I can't think of any others, except the relative Captains of Flag, AOLA, etc., which would include Debbie Cook and quite a few others.

The brevet rank that went with being the CO of a SH or AO was Lieutenant. The COs were *called* Captain at later times as a PR move, but didn't get that (brevet) rank.
